Frequently asked questions.
What should I wear?+
Wear comfortable clothing that allows a full range of movement. If you have them, bring ballet or jazz slippers along with your character shoes (red boots or performance shoes).
What will I do?+
You’ll participate in a series of dance routines that showcase your skill, flexibility and ability to learn choreography.
Should I practise anything?+
Familiarity with basic Ukrainian folk dance steps is helpful. Flexibility, strength and stamina will also prepare you for the demands of the ensemble.
Do I need to register?+
Yes. Audition registration details and deadlines are shared on this page and through our mailing list when a new audition is announced.
Can I come with a friend?+
Absolutely. If your friend is also interested in auditioning, they are welcome to register and participate.
